Børnehuset Hyllehøj is seeking pedagogical assistants for a permanent position and two maternity leave substitutes until 1/3/2027

Right now we are seeking additional pedagogical assistant resources in the form of a permanent position and maternity leave replacements until 1/3 2027. Preferably with the earliest possible start. The working hours are generally 37 hours but can be adjusted to you and your wishes.

The design of Børnehuset Hyllehøj and its pedagogical tone have been created in parallel with the Municipality of Middelfart's vision for children and youth. Namely “From Middelfart child to citizen of the world.” We want our children to develop into small, capable global citizens.

We support this with a pedagogical approach where we place emphasis on establishing good and enduring relationships between children and adults. Good, stable child communities. A high degree of sustainability, benevolence, curiosity, as well as the possibility to live and develop in physical movement and close to nature every day.

We work consciously to increase children's opportunities through their participation in child communities and society. An important task will thus be to strengthen the early efforts around all children. We are ready to throw a high, ambitious ball to succeed for children and families.

We are committed to creating an attractive, coherent kindergarten life in collaboration with parents, the school and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

We therefore seek pedagogical assistants who

• Overall have a desire to put themselves into the process of creating something solid, stable and attractive.
• Are relationship competent and emphasize the importance of relationships for the child’s development.
• Are always curious about the children’s perspective and know the importance of this.
• Want to work systematically and supportively with positioning and organizing an educational everyday life that builds on an inclusive and approving approach.
• Are robust, reflective and have humor. (we laugh a lot)
• See teamwork as a strength, but also thrive working alone and independently and in smaller learning environments.
• Share responsibility for a good working environment and a high social capital across the entire staff group; we guard our working environment closely.
• It is an advantage if you are familiar with work with "The New Strengthened Curriculum" and Aula.

Salary and employment terms

Working hours: 37 hours

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary placement is according to the agreement for pedagogical assistants and pedagogical auxiliaries, our pre-agreements and possibly individual allowances based on special competences, knowledge or experience.

The position’s salary range as a pedagogical assistant will be from DKK 25,575.09 up to DKK 29,311.60, depending on the candidate’s seniority, further education and personal competences.

The salary interval is monthly salary excluding pension.

In connection with employment, criminal records and child safeguarding checks will be obtained.
