Børneland Fredericia is seeking a creative and nature-loving educator

Are you the pedagogue who would rather build dens, explore small creatures and invent new games than stand on the sidelines? Then maybe you are the one we're looking for!

At Børneland Fredericia we are looking for an engaged, creative and nature-loving pedagogue who is passionate about creating exciting experiences, developmental play and strong relationships between the children.

We believe that children learn best through play, curiosity and shared experiences. Therefore we are not merely seeking an adult who watches over the children – but an adult who dares to play!

We are looking for you who

• Loves being outdoors in nature and using the playground as an active learning environment.
• Is creative and can come up with exciting activities using nature's materials.
• Can start play, inspire the children and further develop the play together with them.
• Wants to be actively participating in the children's imagination, curiosity and discoveries.
• Understands when to participate in the play, and when to step back, observe and support the children's own initiatives.
• Has an eye for how play creates friendships, good relationships, wellbeing and learning.
• Is present, caring and can create safe environments for all children.

What can we offer?

At Børneland we work with inspiration from Reggio Emilia pedagogy , where children's curiosity, creativity and participation are at the center.

We offer a workplace where

• You will have the opportunity to shape everyday life with your own ideas and activities.
• Nature, outdoor life and the creative learning environments are an important part of our pedagogical work.
• We place a high value on presence, community and good relationships.
• There is room to experiment, think creatively and develop the pedagogy together.
