The Child Area Midt is a district institution with three day care centers: Børnehuset Hættegården (0-6 years), Børnehuset Vesterparken (0-6 years) and Børnehuset 1000Fryd (0-6 years). In Børnehuset 1000Fryd there is room for 81 kindergarten children and 12 nursery children.

Job profile

You will participate in collaboration with the entire staff group in Børneområde Midt by participating in arranged pedagogical meetings.

In everyday life you participate in children’s meetings in the house, where tasks are discussed collegially and with sparring from the team leader as well as PP consultants from the Center for Growth and Learning.

You contribute to organizing, preparing, documenting, and evaluating learning spaces for the child group you are attached to. You help qualify our play and learning environments. We work based on FMK’s curriculum model, where we plan a learning environment for a period at a time with a basis in the current child group. You have an important communicative task in terms of making the pedagogical practice visible in daily life.

You will take on tasks related to parent cooperation, action plans, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary consultants. In FMK we work from a politically adopted child and youth policy; we develop action plans for current developmental needs individually and for groups; we work systematically to describe children’s well-being and learning.
