As an employee you will be part of a professional environment where we calculate building areas both before construction and after the completion of the building. The calculations form the basis for the subsequent documentation and recording in the BBR register as well as, in some cases, subdivision of the property into owner-occupied apartments.

You will play an important role in ensuring that information in the BBR register and the cadastre are correct, up-to-date and well-documented.

The tasks require both understanding of building and property conditions and the ability to work systematically with building drawings and spreadsheets, etc. You will have a daily life where professional depth is combined with dialogue with customers, colleagues, property owners and public authorities, including dialogue with architects, engineers and property developers, among others.

Your daily base will be at our office in Aalborg, but you will also experience that we share knowledge and solve tasks in collaboration with colleagues across professional areas and offices.

Your tasks

Your concrete tasks are tailored to your experience and professional background, but will include among others:

• Calculation of building areas (BBR areas, tenancy areas and BR18 areas) and preparation of plans in CAD
• Preparation of area calculations using spreadsheets (Excel)
• Registration of areas in the municipality’s BBR register
• Investigation of existing building and property data, and clarification of discrepancies between registered and actual conditions
• Preparation of material in connection with corrections and updating of BBR information
• Dialogue and coordination with architects, engineers, project developers, property owners, municipalities and other relevant parties
• Follow-up on ongoing cases, quality assurance and development of internal workflows

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience from a similar position, e.g. from a municipality, consulting company, property management or another organization where you have worked with BBR, building cases or property data.

Your educational background could, for example, be

• Technical designer, surveyor and geospatial technician, building technician or building constructor
• Administrative employee with experience from the BBR or building case area
• Property administrator or other relevant property-related education

As a person you are structured, good at creating progress in your tasks and contribute to a professional and welcoming dialogue. We would like you to understand that good advice also means making complex matters comprehensible for customers and partners.

We emphasize that you

• Have experience with building areas, tenancy areas and BR18 areas, registration of areas in BBR, building cases or property data
• Have knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Excel or similar programs, as well as construction case archives, digital maps, GIS, or other systems and data sources
• Work systematically and can work independently
• Thrive with both routine tasks and cases that require further investigation
