Temporary shop assistant sought for the Christmas rush 20-30 hours per week

The kiosk on Kayerødsgade in Aalborg is seeking an engaged shop assistant for a temporary position of 20-30 hours per week from mid-November to the start of January.

We are heading into a busy Christmas period and therefore seek extra staff who can help us provide our many customers with a good experience. If you have the right competencies and we are a good match, there may possibly be room for a permanent position after the employment period.

We are a larger kiosk with a wide range of kiosk goods and gaming options, including Danske Spil, Cashpoint and slot machines. In addition, we also function as a parcel shop for GLS, dao, PostNord, Bring, UPS and DHL.

Your tasks

Your primary tasks will be

• Customer service and good service
• Receiving and handing out parcels
• Stock replenishment
• Tidying up and cleaning
• Other practical tasks in the shop

Working hours

Working hours are primarily day and afternoon shifts, plus a little weekend work. You must also be flexible and able to help with extra shifts in case of illness or need.

We expect that you

• Are service-minded, responsible and reliable
• Remain calm and keep an overview during busy periods
• Take initiative to keep the shop neat, tidy and inviting
• Are flexible and helpful to your colleagues

Experience from kiosk, petrol station, supermarket or other retail is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary and application

The hourly wage is 120 kr during the probation period, which is the first three months. Thereafter the hourly wage is 125 kr until one year of employment and then 130 kr.
