Do you have a sharp eye for the right cars, the market and a good deal?

For Gadeberg Auto & Leasing in Fredericia we are seeking a purchaser & portfolio manager who will take a central role in the continued development of the company's used car business. You will be responsible for both the ongoing car purchasing and the professional management of the portfolio – with a focus on ensuring the right cars, at the right price and with the right turnover speed.

It is a role for someone who not only can analyze the market, but who also thrives on acting on their knowledge, negotiating directly with suppliers and closing the deals.

Take responsibility from procurement to turnover

Your overall responsibility will be to strengthen Gadeberg Auto's capabilities in strategic car procurement and portfolio management. You will have an overall overview of the used car portfolio and must ensure an attractive balance between purchase price, selling price, margin, capital tied up and days of inventory.

A significant part of your daily routine will be active car purchasing. You will follow auctions and other procurement channels, evaluate cars, place bids and contact existing and new suppliers directly. At the same time you will have an important task in expanding the company's direct sourcing – especially in Germany and the rest of Europe. Travel in connection with negotiating and purchasing cars can therefore be expected.

A well-run car business with short decision-making paths

Gadeberg Auto & Leasing is a modern and well-run car business with more than 20 years of experience in the purchase, sale and leasing of quality cars. The company has over the years had solid development and has built a strong network of suppliers and partners in both Denmark and abroad.

There is not far from idea to action here, and the individual employee has the opportunity to influence both the daily operation and the company's further development.

You know the car market and know when to strike

We imagine that you already have solid experience from the automotive industry and for example currently work or have previously worked as a car purchaser at a brand dealer, a larger used-car dealer, a leasing company, a car auction or another professional car trade.

You have an in-depth understanding of the used car market and can quickly assess which cars, models and variants are attractive. At the same time you have the necessary technical understanding to assess the car's condition, equipment, mileage, history and potential preparation or repair risk.

Experience with calculating registration tax as well as buying and selling cars on the European market is important. You master Danish and English at negotiation level, and if you can also communicate in German, that is an advantage.

As a person you are analytical and structured, but you will not sit in front of a spreadsheet. You are decisive and eager to close the deals.
