Care and pedagogy assistant sought for Trekløveret 32-37 hours per week | Shift work | Working every 2nd weekend

Would you like to help create quality of life, security and meaningful relationships? At Trekløveret we are looking for an engaged care and pedagogy assistant who wants to make a difference for people with physical and mental disabilities.

About Trekløveret Trekløveret is a residential facility under the Social Adult Area, Center 1. Here, 22 adult residents aged 20-80 live with physical and/or mental functional impairments – all in their own apartments.

We work from a resource-oriented and structured approach, where appreciative communication and targeted support are the foundation. Our goal is to give the residents the best possible conditions to master their own lives with a focus on development, self-determination and co-determination.

The residential facility is open around the clock all year, and you will become part of a multidisciplinary team where professionalism, collaboration and reflection are prioritized high.

Your tasks As a care and pedagogy assistant you will play an important role in the citizens’ everyday life. Your tasks will include, among others, to:

• Support residents in daily activities and tasks
• Contribute to residents’ well-being, development and quality of life
• Create safe and positive relationships
• Support residents’ independence and participation in everyday life
• Participate in social activities and communities
• Document relevant observations and interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues, relatives and other partners
• Engage in and manage one-on-one projects as needed

• Have experience with or an interest in working with people with special needs

• Are caring, present and responsible
• Can maintain calm and overview in a changing everyday life
• Work independently while valuing collaboration
• Are stable, flexible and adaptable
• Want to learn new things and develop your competencies
• Can express yourself in writing and see documentation as a natural part of the job
• Contributes positively to the community and the work environment

It is an advantage if you have experience from the social sector, but it is not a requirement. The most important is your approach to people and your motivation to make a difference.
