You land in a larger construction company where carpentry work is integrated with several other trades in daily work. The tasks range from housing to commercial and institutional buildings, and there are both new builds, renovations, maintenance and repair. The area of operation is Sønderborg and surroundings, so the daily work is local and close to the construction sites. There is enough size for larger projects, but still a need for people who take responsibility for their own craft.

The role suits you if you can take responsibility on a construction project and keep the pace without cutting corners. You get a company car and a daily routine with both new builds and renovations, so you're not locked to one type of task. When something isn't right on site, you are expected to say so in good time.

Your daily life

The day's rhythm depends on the construction project you are on. For new builds it's about moving the carpentry work forward in the correct order, and for renovations it's about completing the task properly within the existing building. You use the company car during the workday when sites are in different locations.

You will, among other things, work with

• Working on new builds for housing, commercial and institutional construction
• Renovating and remodeling existing buildings
• Replacing roofs, windows and other carpentry parts during renovations
• Carpentry work on both small and larger construction projects
• Assisting with maintenance and repairs when the task requires it

The construction projects are well organized because the company works with several trades around the projects. That means coordinating with other trades is a natural part of the work, and you must be able to speak clearly when the sequence on site needs to be adjusted.

We are looking for someone who can tick most boxes

You don't need to be an expert in every corner of the trade. But you must be able to stand behind what you deliver.

We imagine that you

• Have at least 5 years of experience as a carpenter
• Have a driver's license
• Are reliable and show up as agreed
• Can take on both new builds and renovations
• Speak up if something doesn't add up

It's an advantage if you have worked on larger construction projects before. But the most important thing is that you can your craft and take responsibility for what you do.
