Carpenter for roof work and renovations in Hadsten

We need a carpenter for roofing, new builds and service in Hadsten.

You’ll join a carpentry crew of about 20 employees, with tasks ranging from small repairs to larger new builds. The customers are both private homeowners and commercial clients, so you must be able to meet people properly and deliver something that lasts. The work is local around Hadsten, and the daily work shifts between service, renovation, roofing and new builds. There are also apprentices in the house, so you can take on a role where coordination and shared responsibility fill the day.

You will have freedom with responsibility, and emphasis will be on coordination. Some tasks you do yourself, others are solved with a partner or an apprentice. The company car makes it easier to fit the day together, and the flexibility is real when the work is planned properly. Here it is important that you can take responsibility without turning things into your own solo project.

Daily work: Roofing, renovation and service

Your everyday On an ordinary day, tasks are agreed with the foreman or a partner before you start on the site. When the task requires it, materials can be prepared in the workshop before they’re transported, so the site doesn’t come to a standstill. You must be able to switch between planned tasks and smaller damper/valve and service tasks without losing oversight.

You will, among other things, work with

• Build new and add extensions to homes and commercial properties
• Carry out renovation, repairs and maintenance
• Take on dampers and service tasks as they come in
• Work with roofing and roof renovations
• Replace doors and windows according to the task

When something changes during the day, you tell and coordinate the next step before it becomes a problem. That’s the kind of shared responsibility that makes a flexible everyday life work.

We’re looking for you who can check off most boxes You don’t need to know everything. But you must be able to work independently and take responsibility for your commitments.

We imagine that you

• Have a driver’s license
• Can work alone, with a partner, and with an apprentice
• Have experience with carpentry work in new builds, renovation or service
• Can coordinate with the foreman and other trades
• Show up reliably and speak up if something isn’t right

It’s an advantage if you’ve done roofing or dampers before. But the most important thing is that you can take responsibility and deliver proper work.
