Manage the safety of passengers on board, sales and service to our guests in the cafe, cleaning in the cabin, and the cafe, order and receipt of goods, self-check; cashier service, preparation of food, sandwiches, light meals.

We expect you to be outgoing, able to work well in teams

In addition you should be aware of the following 10 things

• That you arrive on time
• You agree that all shifts start and end on Samsø, the shipping company provides sleeping quarters if needed
• You must follow the uniform regulations, and the uniforms must appear clean and neat.
• Shifts can be up to 14 hours long.
• There can be no holidays in week 28/29 due to festival.

6 You keep yourself updated on new initiatives.

• You familiarize yourself with daily tasks, including self-check
• You follow guidelines for cash handling and accounting
• The workplace is smoke-free during your working time and when you are in uniform.
• And you are employed in Denmark's friendliest shipping company, you contribute by the following

• And at least once a day, you make colleagues and our guests smile

We offer you

Permanent full-time position with orderly conditions, a 5:2 shift plan 5 days work one week and 2 days work the other week, fixed days off every second weekend.

Employment terms

Permanent full-time 37 hours, employed by Samsø Rederi, part of Samsø municipality, The starting point is on our car ferry Princess Isabella, but shifts on our faster ferry Lilleøre may occur.

There is a collective agreement with 3F

There is a meal arrangement, and a staff association.

Condition for employment is that you can obtain a health certificate for seafarers, and that you can complete a mandatory 4-day safety course, course paid by the shipping company, and you will receive pay during the course

Since you are safety crew for passengers, there are legal requirements that you can speak and guide them in Danish, as the safety language on board is Danish.
