At Ørbygård Nursing Home we are looking for a caterer/open-faced sandwich chef who is passionate about good food, high quality, and the joy a good meal can create.

With us, food is much more than nutrition. It creates community, awakens memories, and contributes to the quality of life for our residents, guests in the senior café, and visitors to the house. Therefore we are seeking a colleague who wants to help develop both classic favorites and new, inspiring dishes where taste, aesthetics, and quality go hand in hand. We produce both hot and cold food.

Who are we?

Ørbygård is a modern nursing home with 82 residences spread across three departments. We also have a cozy senior café, a day center for home-dwelling seniors, and many activities and events throughout the year.

Our kitchen is the heart of the house. Here we work every day to create good food experiences, and we prepare the food from scratch with a focus on quality, variety, and the residents' wishes.

You will become part of a strong community consisting of nine dedicated colleagues, including a chef and six nutrition assistants, as well as apprentices and regular weekend substitutes.

• is a trained open-faced sandwich chef
• has a passion for cooking and good ingredients
• wants to contribute with new ideas, creativity and professional curiosity
• has experience with administrative tasks such as purchasing and using email systems
• is service-minded and meets residents, guests and colleagues with respect and presence
• enjoys teamwork and contributes positively to the community
• is reliable and engaged
• speaks and understands Danish.

Terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week with primary working hours between 07:00 and 15:00 and work every 4th weekend 07:00-14:30.

There may be occasional evening shifts in connection with special events.

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
