We are looking for two evening nurses for Solgården in Virum

• high nursing professionalism, presence and warmth

At Solgården we look forward to something new.

We will have our own permanent evening nurses , and that means a lot to us.

For when the day comes to an end, our residents and their families must still be able to feel the same professional security, continuity and humane care that we want to characterize Solgården around the clock.

Therefore we are seeking two skilled and dedicated nurses who want to help shape our nursing care efforts in the evening - and who also want to become an important part of a nursing home where high professionalism and warmth go hand in hand.

Who are we?

Solgården is a large nursing home with small, homely environments. We are beautifully located with a view over the fields towards Lake Furesø.

We currently have 104 residents with different needs and life situations. We have among others 36 apartments for people with dementia and 48 somatic care apartments .

From January 1, 2027 we will also open 8 temporary places in a cozy, separate department. Here we will receive people who for a period need care, treatment and nursing professional observation before the next step in their journey can be decided.

That places demands on us and we like that.

We aspire to a nursing home where the professionalism continually develops in step with the people we are here for.

Nursing care close to the person

At Solgården we believe that high nursing professionalism and human proximity are not opposites. On the contrary.

You should be able to perform qualified clinical assessments, respond to changes in a resident’s condition and create an overview in complex situations. But you also need to keep an eye on the person behind the illness.

For us, security means both knowing what to do , and how you step into another person’s life.

That also applies to the relationship with the family and those close to them. They know the person, the history and life before us, and we want a close and trusting collaboration around the individual resident.

You will not be alone with the professionalism

During the day we have four engaged and skilled nursing leaders who are close to practice and focused on ensuring high quality in care, treatment and support.

We have capable social and health care assistants and helpers, and we continuously prioritize training and competence development. We want employees who are professionally curious, and an organization where we learn together.

As an evening nurse you will therefore become an important professional partner for our staff. You should not take over their professional expertise - you should help support, qualify and develop it .

We also have a fixed physiotherapist and occupational therapist attached to Solgården, and our music therapist contributes with a very special professionalism around well-being, relationships and quality of life.

We have a very good and close collaboration with our two fixed home doctors . It provides continuity, shared professional direction and the possibility to work closely around our residents’ treatment journeys.

A home - not just a workplace

Therefore aesthetics, homeliness and atmosphere matter to us. Not as decoration, but as part of our understanding of dignity and quality of life.

We have our own large kitchen where meals are prepared and then delivered to the individual departments, where staff serve them in the homely environments.

We want life around our residents and a nursing home where professionalism is not institutional.

And we value a workplace with warmth for one another . Our staff should feel it—and our residents should be able to feel it through us.

Your role as evening nurse

As an evening nurse you will have a central role across Solgården.

You will be the nursing professional capacity in the evening hours and must be able to create calm and professional overview when a resident’s condition changes, when a staff member needs sparring, or when a relative needs a professional conversation.

You will, among other things, work with clinical assessments and observations, acute and complex nursing issues, medication and treatment, documentation, contact with doctors and other collaborators, as well as professional sparring and guidance of colleagues.

At the same time you will have the opportunity to help shape the role together with us .

We have the ambitions and direction - but we also want your perspectives. What does it take to create the best possible coherence between day and evening? How do we use nursing professionalism best? And how do we ensure that employees, residents and families experience continuity and security around the clock?
