Cleaning Assistant for a Free School, After-School Care and Nature-Based Nursery

We are seeking, as of December 1, 2026, a cleaning assistant to take care of cleaning at the school, in the SFO and in the nature nursery.

Do you like cleaning in a place where children and adults spend a lot of time outdoors?

Can you prioritise and balance the cleaning tasks when there is a need for your help with, for example, shopping, or slicing bread and making coffee for our open morning songs?

Skørbæk-Ejdrup consists of a free school, a nature kindergarten and a nature nursery and is located in scenic surroundings near Halkær Bredning. Based on the Grundtvig-Koldske thinking, we value Creativity, Community, Natural life and Freedom, and these values also shape our premises and grounds. We do not have much asphalt, but rather plenty of lawns, kitchen gardens, forests and scrub – and here the children play year-round. We have an indoor shoes system, but it does get dirty, and you must be able to handle that. 😊

We have 146 students in the free school, 18 nursery children and 21 preschool children. Our SFO houses 55 students from kindergarten to 3rd grade, and in total we are 30 employees in different professional groups.

The task consists of daily cleaning at the school, in the SFO and in the nursery. In addition, ordering of cleaning supplies etc., which is carried out in collaboration with our technical facilities manager.
