Create clean environments at a lively vocational school

At Learnmark Horsens we are building a new cleaning team at one of our addresses, Strandpromenaden, which has so far been handled by an external company. Therefore we are looking for cleaning assistants who want to help create a strong and well-functioning solution from the start. There are two 37-hour positions and two 20-hour positions. Working hours are generally in the afternoon.

As a cleaning assistant at Learnmark Horsens you will have a diverse workday at a vocational school. You will be responsible for your own cleaning area, where you plan and perform the tasks with thoroughness and professional pride. At the same time the team lifts the cleaning task together, so the whole school appears clean, inviting and ready for the day's activities.

You will have great influence on how you organise the work, and you will collaborate with the team and the cleaning coordinator to find good solutions. You also collaborate with the school's other staff and will encounter a daily life where cleaning plays an important role for the students' learning, the employees' work environment and the school's many activities.

Your tasks

You will become part of the daily cleaning at Learnmark Horsens, Strandpromenaden, and the tasks vary according to the school's needs and your area. Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning and maintenance of your own area at the school with a focus on quality
• Collaboration with the team on the overall cleaning task
• Dialogue with the cleaning coordinator about planning, prioritisation and solutions
• Collaboration with other staff at Learnmark Horsens
• Cleaning in connection with the school's events.

You will be responsible for solving your tasks independently, but you are never alone with the responsibility for the school's cleaning. The team helps each other, shares experiences and adjusts the way of working when daily life or the school's activities require it.

We are looking for you who work steadily and quality-conscious

You have experience with cleaning, preferably from a school or another large workplace. You understand how thoroughness, structure and good planning create a visible result. You take responsibility for your own area and contribute actively to the team's overall task.

You will have a good and direct dialogue with colleagues and the cleaning coordinator. You will also meet the school's other staff in a daily life with close cross-functional contact. When the school hosts events, you may have the opportunity to participate in the joint task around them.

Practical information

The employment is made in accordance with circular on the organizational agreement for Cleaning assistants, skilled workers and certain vocational trained etc. in the state etc. (3F), and the circular on the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organisations – The Government Sector (OAO-Joint Agreement).

Job interviews will be held in week 47.
