Clear and Engaged Teacher for the Rolighed Classes

Rolighed School is seeking a skilled and relationship-oriented teacher for a maternity leave temporary position in Rolighed Classes with start on January 1, 2027. The position is 37 hours per week.

About Rolighed Classes

Rolighed Classes are an offering for students who benefit from a small learning environment. Our pedagogy is fundamentally appreciative and resource-oriented, and we base our approach on a daily life characterized by structure, fixed routines and individual action plans.

A crucial framework for our success with our children is close and committed teamwork. You will become part of our strong middle-school team, which already consists of two educators and one teacher. We expect you to actively participate in this professional learning and working community across subject areas.

We expect that you

• Have Danish and/or mathematics as major subjects (or equivalent competencies).
• Are a clear adult who masters classroom management in practice.
• Have experience with special education and pedagogical strategies within the area.
• Are flexible and adaptable so you can navigate what the day calls for.
• Are focused on the core task of children's well-being and academic development.
• Are strong in collaboration with other groups (educators and educational assistants).

Rolighed School is a well-functioning urban school, consisting of three components: Roligheden Classes, a general division (0.-6. grade in two tracks) and the Østermølle division (for children with significant and lasting cognitive and physical disabilities). All three divisions have their own after-school program attached for the benefit of many children every day.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Before final employment, criminal and child abuse background checks will be obtained.
