About the job

Do you have experience with CNC machining, Fanuc control and programming – and are you motivated by taking responsibility and the opportunity to make your mark on things? At Lachenmeier Monsun in Sønderborg you will become part of a new area, where there is room for both professional development, good ideas and perhaps in due course greater responsibility.

On behalf of Lachenmeier Monsun A/S in Sønderborg CAREER | a JKS company is seeking 1-2 skilled CNC operators who want to become part of a project-oriented company with both standard products and new, customer-tailored solutions.

You will join an area in development, therefore we are looking for someone who not only wants to operate a machine, but also wants to take responsibility, contribute with your experience and help create good workflows from the start.

A versatile daily life with CNC machining and programming

As a CNC operator you will have a daily routine with good variation in the tasks. Production is not characterized by long runs of the same part production. On the contrary, machines must be able to be changed multiple times during the day, and you will typically have several machines running simultaneously.

You receive STEP files, which are loaded into GibbsCAM, and from there your task is to program and prepare the machine for production. It is therefore important that you understand CNC programming and Fanuc control and can independently take the task safely from file to finished part.

Your tasks will include

  • Programming, setup and operation of CNC machines with Fanuc control
  • Handling STEP files and programming via GibbsCAM
  • Switching between different parts and productions – often several times a day
  • Monitoring and operating several machines at the same time
  • Quality control and ensuring that the parts meet the desired specifications
  • Possibly work with milling if you have experience in the area

You are professionally curious and thrive with variation

We imagine you have a relevant metalworking background, e.g. as industrial technician, CNC operator or similar. Your exact education is less decisive than your practical experience and your understanding of CNC machining and programming.

Perhaps you come from a smaller or medium-sized manufacturing company where you are used to being close to the whole process, switching between different tasks and finding solutions yourself when something doesn’t go exactly as planned. That experience will fit very well at Lachenmeier Monsun.

Collaboration is an important part of the job

At Lachenmeier Monsun people help each other. Therefore we are looking for a colleague who can work independently and at the same time sees themselves as part of a team.

You take responsibility for your own tasks, but you are also ready to lend a hand when a colleague needs help. You thrive in a company where the path from idea to action is relatively short, and where tasks are solved collectively.

As Lachenmeier Monsun operates internationally, knowledge of German is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.

Opportunity to make your mark – and develop yourself

The position is particularly interesting because you become part of a new area at Lachenmeier Monsun. This means that not all workflows are necessarily cast in stone in advance. If you have good ideas for programming, setup or workflows, you have the opportunity to influence.

For the right person, there may also in time be an opportunity to develop into a team leader. It can thus also be an exciting opportunity for you who is currently an experienced CNC operator and would like to take the next step in your career.

Lachenmeier Monsun offers

You will become part of a Danish, project-oriented company where work is carried out with both well-known standard products and development of new solutions. It provides a varied production and a daily life where your professional skills are used.

You can also look forward to good and orderly working conditions, skilled colleagues, opportunities for professional development and a workplace where collaboration is highly prioritized. And the really good canteen arrangement should also be mentioned – it is a plus in everyday life.
