The client communicates verbally, and it will be easier to understand as you get to know each other. She is very patient and often repeats herself. She uses a limited set of signs for speech. She is good at using emojis to communicate with her phone. She cannot read and write, therefore the companion should have the general overview on the outings and, for example, assist with the Rejsekort (travel card). She can become overwhelmed in crowded situations.

This is especially the case if people push or walk close to her. But she can comfortably walk around a busy shopping center or Tivoli at Christmas time. Therefore the companion should be attentive to whether she needs a break or to step away from a situation. She needs safe, predictable surroundings on the outings, and if you start a new activity, you should discuss it beforehand so she knows what to expect. She is a very sweet and creative girl.

She is, among other things, interested in craft activities such as diamond art.

She would like, among other things, companionship for shopping trips in Hillerød town centre - a cafe outing - the cinema - creative activities. The companion is also welcome to come with other good suggestions.

There are 15 hours of companionship per month.

It will primarily be on weekdays about 2-3 times per month. It can be on weekends once in a while by arrangement.

She works on weekdays, so the outings will be from early afternoon and 2-4 hours long, depending on what you will do.

Agreements are made with the client themselves. You must help to write all your arrangements down in her calendar. The client’s mother will join the first meeting.

You will travel around using public transport.

We are looking for a sweet and energetic companion who can give the client a sense of safety on the outings.

The position as a companion is part-time and the number of hours may vary from week to week, within the grant framework.

The companion scheme is always used for self-chosen activities outside the client's residence.

The client covers all expenses related to the companion service.

Hourly wage

Weekdays: About 170 DKK

Saturday: About 180 DKK

Sunday: About 190 DKK

The salary varies depending on where in the country the client lives.
