Companion wanted for a resident in Skovlunde

Companion sought for a sweet 26-year-old man who lives in a residential facility in Skovlunde.

The person has autism. He thrives best with predictability and structure. He can do a lot by himself. He has a fine verbal language and understands everything you say. At first he answers more with grunt-like sounds. He responds in short sentences and sometimes uses English expressions. He is a bit shy and opens up more after a while. It is the companion who should have an overview of the outing and may be proactive. He is not very good with numbers and needs help with payments.

The person has many interests such as video games on YouTube e.g. Super Mario, Lego, iPad and superheroes. He is very good at building with Lego. It is an advantage if you share interests with the person.

He desires companionship to go out and experience things. He wants companionship for example: a trip to the cinema - a trip to Lego House in the city center - looking in shops - the zoo - the planetarium and whatever other exciting activities you can think of. The companion may propose ideas, as long as they are within the person’s interests.
