Construction/Installation Manager for Svane Kitchen Lyngby / East Denmark

Can you create an overview, ensure progress and get complex projects safely to the finish? At Svane Køkkenet Lyngby we have high activity in the project department. Together with our sister stores in Odense, Vejle and Kolding we deliver kitchens, bathrooms and fixtures for type houses, housing projects, commercial and larger building projects.

Therefore we are now looking for a construction-/installation manager who can take responsibility for local project execution in Eastern Denmark – based in Lyngby – and ensure that the projects are planned, coordinated and handed over professionally.We have a central delivery organization in Odense, where our project managers operate from.

You will therefore become an important part of the overall project organization and have a close collaboration interface to the project managers, project sales, installers, suppliers and the external partners. YOUR ROLE As construction-/installation manager you will be responsible for the practical and technical execution of projects in Eastern Denmark. You will become the local project responsible on the construction site and the link between the central delivery organization in Odense, the customer, the contractor, the installers and the internal functions. Your tasks will mainly be to:

• Control and coordinate project deliveries
• Work closely with the project managers in Odense
• Review drawings, schedules and contract basis
• Coordinate surveying, delivery and installation
• Maintain dialogue with customers, contractors, installers and colleagues
• Participate in construction meetings and handovers
• Follow up on progress, quality, deficiencies and finances
• Handle deviations and complaints
• Ensure documentation and timely follow-up

YOUR PROFILE You have experience from construction, installation management, project management – and preferably within the kitchen industry – or a similar role where coordination, quality, progress and collaboration with customers and partners have been central tasks. You have building technical understanding, technical insight and the ability to create structure in a day with many simultaneous projects and stakeholders.We imagine that you:

• Have experience with construction management, installation management or project execution
• Have technical understanding and preferably knowledge of kitchens, fixtures, installation or construction
• Work structured, document properly and follow up
• Communicate clearly, professionally and solutions-oriented
• Can collaborate closely with both central project managers and local partners
• Have an eye for quality, schedules, finances and delivery
• Thrive with responsibility, pace and demand for precision
• Have a driver's license and are willing to travel to projects in Eastern Denmark

If you are comfortable with Excel, have knowledge of Winner or project management tools it is an advantage, but not a requirement.
