Construction/Project Manager – keep control of the site, the plan and the loose ends 🏗️

Can you keep a cool head when the schedule is tight, the delivery is delayed, and three different trades think they should go first? 😅

Then we are looking for more construction/project managers who want to be close to the construction work and make everyday life on site run smoothly.

We are a 100% Danish-owned company with engineers, contractors and tradespeople, and we carry out turnkey contracts for both private and public customers.

We work, among other things, with new construction, renovations, roofing and residential construction – for example attic apartments and nursing homes.

You will be employed in our department Entreprise Gruppen ApS.

🏗️ What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the management of one or more trade contracts on the construction site and work closely with the project manager and the rest of the team.

Your daily tasks will include

• Construction and project management
• Daily coordination with the people on site
• Planning and control of schedules
• Coordination between trades and deliveries
• Review of project materials
• Quantity surveying and material ordering
• Soliciting bids and dialogue with suppliers and contractors
• Inspection and quality assurance of the work performed
• Financial management to some extent
• Coordination of the work environment and safety
• Optimization of workflows and solutions
• Participation in handover as well as 1- and 5-year reviews

👷 Who are we looking for?

You could be a building engineer, an engineer or have a similar construction-related education.

You would also very much like to be newly graduated. We do not expect that you already have managed 14 construction projects, 38 subcontractors and gray hair. 😉

If you have a background as a carpenter, joiner or another tradesperson, it is certainly an advantage – but not a requirement.

If you come without a craft background, we would like you to have practical experience from the construction industry such as a site manager or project manager.

Experience or understanding of the installation trades is also a plus.

You should also be comfortable with IT – the rest we can build on.

💻 We do not expect you to know everything from day one

We offer training and relevant courses, including in the IT systems we use.

There will also be opportunities for other relevant courses, for example health and safety training.

The most important is that you want to take responsibility, can communicate with both craftsmen, consultants and suppliers – and do not get nervous just because the schedule picks up some dust. 😎
