Cook or caterer for meeting refreshments at Herlev Hospital

Are you a culinary craftsman with pride in your craft?

We are seeking a professionally strong chef or caterer who loves good ingredients, food made from scratch, and the cold kitchen. You should want to create delicious, high-quality food and be curious about how we can develop our work with ecology and sustainability.

With us, the job is about cooking; your primary task is to prepare inviting and flavorful high-quality food together with your skilled colleagues and our trainee for meeting catering.

The meeting catering at Herlev Hospital is an engaged team of 14 employees who every day work to create good experiences through food, service and quality.

We provide catering for everything from small meetings to large conferences and events with up to 300 participants. Regardless of whether the task is big or small, our ambition is the same: To deliver professional service and high-quality food that guests remember.

We set the bar high and have a strong focus on good craftsmanship, good ingredients and welcoming service. For us, quality is not something we talk about. It is something we work on every single day.

As part of the department we also run a small café, and we work closely across functions. In addition, we have a strong collaboration with the hospital canteen. When we have particularly large events or busy periods, the canteen helps us lift the tasks, and in return we help in the canteen when there is a need for extra hands in operations. It creates a everyday life with community, flexibility and a strong togetherness across the kitchens.

Practical information

Working hours : Monday to Friday 06:00-13:54, 1-2 times a year there may be a weekend shift.

There are busy periods during the year, especially from March to June as well as from September to 20 December, when activity is high and overtime may occur. Holidays are taken as far as possible during school vacation periods and with consideration for operations.

Salary and employment for cooks according to the applicable collective agreement with 3F and for caterers a starting agreement with Kost og Ernæringsforbundet.

Interviews will be held on a rolling basis from week 46.
