About the job

Are you good at tying things together, creating an overview in a busy daily life, and making people, tasks, and resources fit together? And would you like to use your skills somewhere where your effort is felt – by citizens, relatives, colleagues, and management? Then you could be one of the coordinators we are seeking for home care and nursing in Haderslev Municipality.

We are in the middle of an exciting development, where we are expanding the number of districts and strengthening the local organization close to the citizens and employees. Therefore we are looking for six coordinators who want to be involved from the start and contribute to a daily life with good planning and coherence in daily operations – based on Haderslev Municipality's organizational framework and the approach Valueful Everyday.

A key function in everyday life

As a coordinator you work closely with the district manager. You will play a central role in supporting the manager and the two multidisciplinary teams in the district with planning, coordination, and practical overview, so that together you can ensure our citizens the best possible help, care, and support.

You will have an разнообразно (note: this is a transliteration; please replace with) varied daily life, where you must consider the citizen's needs, the employees' competencies, and the many practical details that keep the operations running.

Your tasks will include among other things to

  • contribute to an active and flexible use of resources so that tasks are covered and redistributed as needed, including updating daily duty rosters and driving lists
  • distribute tasks with regard to citizens' needs, employees' competencies, and the interdisciplinary collaboration
  • have an overview of practical operational conditions such as cars, bicycles, clothing, and telephones
  • contribute to clear information between multidisciplinary teams, district leader, citizens, and relatives
  • collaborate with coordinator colleagues in neighboring districts and assist during peak loads and absences.

In contact with citizens and relatives you help create security and clarity. You participate in handling inquiries, informing about changes in visits, and ensuring that the citizen is involved and experiences self-determination in the decisions that concern the help. When meaningful for the citizen's process, you also contribute to the interaction with relatives, local communities, and civil society.

We are looking for you who can create overview and good relationships

You thrive with responsibility and collaboration, and you have a natural ability to talk with people in a proper and appreciative manner.

You have a relevant education – preferably a health-professional education or for example a health administrative coordinator, and you have in-depth knowledge of the senior field as well as knowledge of holistic care.

In addition we emphasize that you

  • have knowledge of planning and IT – preferably EOJ
  • have knowledge of collective agreements and working time rules within the area
  • can navigate between the citizen perspective, the professional quality, and daily operations
  • work in a structured, independent, and flexible manner
  • are loyal to current quality standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • communicate clearly, appreciatively, and trust-creating
  • contribute to a good work environment and a strong relational collaboration
  • can maintain an overview – even when everyday life is busy and unpredictable.

Why you should apply for the job

With us you get the opportunity to make a difference every day. You will become part of an organization where we together build a new district structure. This means that you get the opportunity to help shape good workflows, strong collaborations, and a daily life where we succeed together for the citizens.

You can look forward to a job with great variety, high professional standards, and close collaboration with both manager, colleagues, and other coordinators. We help each other, share knowledge, and focus on creating a workday where there is room for both professionalism, flexibility, and good collegiality.

Terms of employment

The position is a permanent 37-hour position.

Start date: January 1, 2027.
