About us

Beredskabsstyrelsen Midtjylland is the operative department of Beredskabsstyrelsen in Herning, which provides support to other authorities in the event of major accidents and disasters in Denmark and abroad. In this context we train about 120 conscript rescue specialists per year, just as we maintain and develop training for more than 100 volunteers as well as permanent staff.

We are also the home to Beredskabsstyrelsen’s Logistics Center for Materiel and International Operations. The Logistics Center is an exciting, versatile and very dynamic workplace, which supports Beredskabsstyrelsen’s operational work both nationally and internationally.

We are 25 professionally strong and dedicated employees at the Logistics Center, broadly composed of many different specialties and employments. Interdisciplinarity and cooperation are keywords for us to reach our common goals in the unit.

About the position

You will get an independent role at the Issuing Depot, where you together with other colleagues ensure that there is always equipment ready for issue to our conscripts, volunteers, non-commissioned officers and our other uniformed staff.

You will also have an active role in keeping equipment ready and functional.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Responsible for issuing and returning clothing and equipment in connection with conscription and demobilization of conscripts.
• Responsible for the stock of clothing and equipment including ordering clothing and equipment.
• Handling of turnover of clothing including washing and equipping.
• Handling equipment for loan for training of conscripts.
• Perform care of fire hoses.

About you

You are trained Rescue Specialist at Beredskabsstyrelsen.

In addition it would be a clear advantage if you have a forklift certificate. It is a requirement that you have at least a driving license for vehicle categories B and C.

Employment terms

The position is a Constable position on collective agreement terms.

Salary etc. is regulated by the currently applicable General Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Teachers’ Central Organization and CO10 – Central Organization of 2010 and the Agreement between the Defence Minister’s Personal Agency and the Central Association for Stamp Personnel of the line and reserve as well as students in the Ministry of Defence with affiliated authorities, and allowance of 6 January 2025 entered into between the Central Organization of 2010, the Central Association for Stamp Personnel and the Ministry of Finance.

The workplace is in Herning.
