Crane mechanic for SAWO in Køge

Become our new crane mechanic in Køge

SAWO in Køge is looking for a colleague with solid practical experience in servicing and repairing cranes or similar hydraulic equipment. You will be part of a workshop where technical curiosity and proper craftsmanship make a difference for customers who rely on their equipment to work.

You will receive varied tasks and responsibility to see them through to the end together with skilled colleagues. Here, we need someone who can roll up their sleeves from day one and at the same time has a desire to learn SAWO’s products thoroughly.

Your tasks

You will, among other things, be involved in

• carrying out service, maintenance and repair of truck-mounted cranes and related equipment
• systematically fault-find in hydraulics, electricity and mechanics
• replacing and adapting components as well as testing and quality assuring the finished work
• documenting the tasks and collaborating with colleagues to find the best solution
• contributing to delivering a reliable solution and a good experience for the customer

Troubleshooting → repair → test → handover

Some faults are straightforward. Others require experience, patience and the ability to see the connection between hydraulics, electricity and mechanics. You will have space to use your professional knowledge and to spar with colleagues when the task requires more eyes.

Is this you we are looking for?

Experience is a requirement. You have worked professionally with cranes or similar hydraulic machines and can independently perform fault finding and repair. Your education could be, for example, as a truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic or another relevant technical education. Whether you learned the trade in another way is less important than what you can do in practice.

• have a solid understanding of hydraulics and mechanics as well as experience with electrical fault finding
