About the job

At the Workshop, in the middle of the forest, we create a dynamic and inclusive environment where active communities, activity and development go hand in hand. Here we work together for an active everyday life. A peek into it: Some listen to read-alouds or sing together; others train in the exercise room, walk or cycle tours in the area - or get sweat on the brow with boxing training - while creative projects take shape indoors.

We are looking for a dedicated employee with social-pedagogical education and experience who will be part of our meaningful work with adults with physical and mental disabilities.

The group of people at the Workshop is diverse and spans a wide range in age, interests and needs for compensatory support. Our task is largely to notice the 'spark' (signs and signals with both body and voice), which shows what each individual needs or is motivated for in the community with others. We work mentalizing and always from an appreciative approach.

The day service Værkstedet is an activity and companionship service under §104. Here about 80 people have their meaningful companionship, activity and employment everyday life.

At the Workshop we are focused on seeing the whole person in collaboration and with our shared professional identity and curiosity.

We work from a conviction that all people want to contribute to the community and experience meaning in their everyday life.

Therefore we work with a starting point in the individual's resources, interests and dreams and try to create the best possible conditions for participation, development and quality of life.
