About the job

We are not looking for someone who can tell us what we usually do. We are looking for someone who, together with us, can explore how we can do it even better.

At Nødebogård Treatment Home we are seeking a professionally strong and systematic coordinator who can contribute with new perspectives and help strengthen the coherence between our treatment decisions and the pedagogical practice. We are looking for you who have preferably worked at a treatment home before, and have experience in creating structure, maintaining professional processes and translating knowledge and decisions into concrete actions.

You are curious about existing practice, dare to question what we usually do, and at the same time understand that lasting changes are created through collaboration, professional respect and clear follow-up.

About Nødebogård Bagsværd

Nødebogård Bagsværd is a specialized treatment home for children and young people with complex psychological, social and emotional difficulties. The young people may, among other things, have psychiatric issues, self-harming behavior, risk of suicide, trauma and significant challenges with emotional regulation and relationships. The department has partly closed spaces and works interdisciplinarily with pedagogical staff, psychologists, social workers, nurses and school.

Our treatment work is based on a multi-theoretical approach, where among other things mentalization, acknowledging, systemic, narrative, cognitive and solution-oriented perspectives are included. See video about the department HERE

About the position

As a professional coordinator you will play a central role in strengthening systematization, quality and continuity in the treatment work. You must help ensure that our professional decisions are translated into concrete agreements, that the agreements are upheld, and that there is follow-up on their use and effect. A substantial part of your work will be systematic review and quality assurance of documentation in Nexus. At the same time you must be close to the staff and the pedagogical practice, so professional observations are translated into action.

You report to the department head, work across the entire department and have no personnel responsibility.

Your central tasks

  • Professional coordination and follow-up
  • Ensure that treatment-related decisions are translated into clear agreements and concrete pedagogical actions
  • Systematically follow up on treatment goals, sub-goals, risk assessments and agreed interventions.
  • Support employees' common understanding and use of pedagogical strategies.
  • Contribute with new perspectives and constructively challenge existing routines.

We imagine that you

  • Have a relevant social welfare, pedagogical, health care or other related educational background.
  • Have experience with professional coordination, quality assurance, documentation or implementation.
  • Dare to challenge habits and existing workflows in a constructive way.
  • Work independently, structured and analytical.
  • Can set clear professional requirements and at the same time create collaboration and buy-in
  • Have an understanding of legislation, documentation and the importance of correct case handling.

We offer

  • A new professional function with the opportunity to influence its development.
  • A central role in the work with professional quality and treatment coherence.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with engaged and skilled colleagues.
  • Opportunity for both analytical immersion and practice-oriented professional support.
  • A department where we want to develop our practice and dare to question what we usually do.
  • Close collaboration with the department head and clear organizational frameworks.

Working hours and organization

The position is 37 hours per week with mainly daytime hours. There will also be work in the evening hours and weekends to ensure professional support across the department's shifts. You are not part of the ordinary pedagogical staffing, daily operations or duty rosters.
