Create structure and good daily routines for a sociable woman

About the task

We are looking for a pedagogue for a woman with early dementia. She is very social and enjoys conversations, walks and fresh air. Previously she has been active both professionally and socially, and she has among other things worked in home care.

She needs support to create structure and overview in daily life, including in relation to appointments and contact with public authorities. She can have difficulty taking initiative and often repeats the same topics in conversations. Therefore it is important that you can be patient, clear and help her progress in a calm and recognizing way.

The task is about pedagogical support and presence in the home and in everyday life. It may also involve small walks or conversations that help her get going with the day and create more structure.

There is a social cat in the home.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and have experience with dementia. You work calmly and independently and are good at creating structure and overview in collaboration with the citizen.

You are patient in dialogue and can remain calm, even when conversations repeat themselves. At the same time you are good at creating a secure relationship and supporting the citizen in maintaining agreements and contact with relevant authorities.

You are paid according to education and experience.

Working hours

The position is 6 hours per month.

The working hours are 3 hours every other week on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday in the time frame 9.00–17.00.

The concrete days and times are agreed in collaboration with the citizen.
