We are looking for a dedicated nurse for our nursing home, which has just been nominated as Denmark's best nursing home.

Plejehjemmet Altiden Lindehaven is a modern nursing home in Frederiksberg, consisting of 5 floors with 25 apartments on each floor. Each floor has a shared kitchen and a lounge.

The position is a cross-house function across the whole building with 125 residents, where you have a special professional focus on two departments. You will become part of a strong nursing team consisting of two cross-house nurses and a nursing professional leader. Everyday life involves close collaboration with staff across the house, as well as with general practitioners, therapists and other health care partners.

You will take a central role in the professional development of the house and actively contribute with guidance, sparring and teaching of colleagues. At the same time you will handle varied and complex nursing tasks.

Your tasks will span widely - from nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter placement, medication administration, to having an overview in acute situations, collaboration with doctors and specialized departments - to professional sparring and guidance of colleagues. You will provide palliative care and support for the resident and their relatives in the resident's final days. You will have a primary function on the 1st and 2nd floors, but we help each other across the nursing team.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who is trained nurse and has a minimum of two years' experience as a nurse.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Ensuring good communication with residents and their relatives.
• Having an overview of nursing tasks in the associated departments and helping to maintain high quality in task execution.
• Handling complex nursing issues and coordinating relevant actions.
• Providing professional sparring, guidance and teaching to colleagues.
• Collaborating closely with the house's other staff, general practices and external partners.
• Collaborating with clinical supervisor regarding nursing students.
• Actively participating in development, implementation and improvement of new workflows, guidelines and documentation.
• Contributing to a good working environment with focus on respectful tone, collegiality and high social capital.

Additional information

The position is a permanent day shift of 35 hours per week with an every-third-weekend work pattern.

Salary and allowances according to agreement with DSR, as well as pension, special savings and the possibility of health insurance.
