We are looking for substitutes for day shifts, evening shifts and weekends at Kristiansgården. We are looking for you who have a health-related or other relevant education, or who are in the process of obtaining a relevant education, and who would like to help create a safe and good everyday life for our residents.

Please note that the position falls within the round-the-clock area. Currently, the service is expected to be primarily day shifts/evening shifts.

• You have a health-related or other relevant education, or are in training.
• You are caring and eager to make a difference for the residents.
• You meet residents, relatives and colleagues with respect and propriety.
• You are reliable and dependable.
• You can work independently and at the same time be part of a team.
• You base your work on the residents' wishes and needs and contribute to homeliness, joy and security.

About the department

Kristiansgården is a small nursing home in Beder with community, warmth and homeliness.

As a new resident at Kristiansgården you will quickly notice how every day we focus on being here for the residents. We base our approach on each individual's well-being and daily needs, as it is important to us that residents feel a sense of meaning and influence in daily life.

It makes something very special for the community at Kristiansgården that we are a smaller nursing home. Everyone – both residents and staff – knows each other, and we place great emphasis on having a community with one another. We are known for a good and welcoming atmosphere that radiates coziness and homeliness.

Here you can smell home-baked goods, flowers on the tables, singing in the dining room, and we frequently have visits from pets and city children. We closely follow the changing seasons both on trips outside the house, from the windows and in our wonderful garden.

We are an Eden Alternative © registered nursing home. Specifically, this means that we focus on well-being and comfort for both residents and staff. At Kristiansgården we are together about the good everyday life. Residents are involved in decisions and planning, and we go to great lengths to ensure that what they want is what happens. If a bus ride is desired, we go. If a resident needs closeness and presence, we sit with them.

Kristiansgården has 24 residences, each with its own garden. We have a large common dining room adjacent to a kitchen. The hot meal is served at lunch, where the nutrition assistants together with the staff help serve and enjoy the meal. Then we can also have a chat about favorite dishes and food wishes.

We have a good collaboration with the local community in Beder and are enriched with wonderful volunteers who help create star moments for Kristiansgården's residents. Kindergartens and school classes are invited to visit and we enjoy how the meeting between generations creates joy for both young and old.

As the manager I am proud to feel that every day there is room for each individual resident and their wishes and needs. Our community, warmth and homeliness makes Kristiansgården a nursing home where life can be lived every day.

Salary and employment terms

The position is to be filled by agreement.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiation with the representative union.

Weekly hours: Substitute.
