Educator who can lead a group of children with both heart and mind

Who are we?

In Børnehaven Vivaldi, located in Frejlev, you will become part of a house with a group of wonderful children aged 3–6 years, an engaged parent group and a staff team with high professional standards, good mood and ambitions for children's well-being, learning, development and formation.

The kindergarten is organized into three rooms – two for the youngest and middle children and one for the oldest children. Until school start in 2027, you will have your primary attachment to the oldest group. We see ourselves as one shared house where we collaborate across and take joint responsibility for all children. Therefore, it is natural for the position that you switch rooms from year to year.

On the playground we are lucky to have a creative workshop and a campfire area, which provide good opportunities for creative expression, immersion and outdoor life. At the same time, we are within walking distance of the Old Gravel Pit and several other scenic areas with, among others, a lake and a playground.

We are in the process of a joint development where we create a clear pedagogical direction and strong learning environments across the house.

With the strengthened pedagogical curriculum as a foundation and with inspiration from Nest, ICDP and Aalborg Municipality’s Quality Markers, we work in an exploratory and reflective manner with our pedagogical practice.

We are seeking a professionally engaged educator who is curious about our pedagogical approach and would like to learn new things. You do not need to know everything in advance - the most important thing is that you want to contribute with your own perspectives, ideas and professionalism and be an active part of an evaluation culture where we reflect together on and develop our pedagogical practice.

Working hours are from 06:15 to 16:45, and you should expect both opening and closing shifts each week as well as one evening meeting about once a month.
