Danish teacher for adult foreigners sought

Danskbureauet is continuously seeking part-time Danish teachers for highly educated foreigners.

As a Danish language teacher at Danskbureauet you can become part of a group of professionally and highly engaged Danish instructors who value collegial sparring and maintain an informal tone.

Our premises are located in the center of Copenhagen, and we primarily teach in the Copenhagen area, but we also have assignments in the rest of Denmark and online.

We teach both day and evening on weekdays and on Saturdays during daytime hours. Since many of our course participants prefer instruction after 5:00 PM on weekdays or on Saturdays, it will be a condition of employment that you are also available during these times.

All of our teachers have many years of relevant experience as Danish teachers for adults behind them. We do not necessarily expect you to have that. However, you can expect to be introduced and trained in our methods and approaches.

However, it is a prerequisite that you have a bachelor’s degree in a language subject, and it is a big plus if you already have or are pursuing the DAV training. Have you also taught on Danskuddannelse 3 at a language center (preferably with the PD3 and/or Studieprøven exams) or in another setting and do you also have experience with delivering hybrid teaching, it is another plus.

If you are interested, please send us your application as soon as possible to Jacob Madsen at [email protected]. We conduct job interviews on an ongoing basis until we find the right candidates.
