About the job

Do you want to use your skills in CRM and data to work for a world free from violence against women and children? Can you develop, operate and optimize systems and ensure their integration? And are you keen to contribute to Danner's fundraising together with a small and committed team? Then you are the person we are looking for.

Danner is in a positive development, where more and more Danes support our work and our cause. This means that we now face the task of aligning, systematizing, automating and personalizing our fundraising efforts and our loyalty-building communication to donors. This is particularly true for private donors who contribute monthly, but also regarding one-time donations from private individuals as well as collaborations with foundations and companies.

For a newly created position as CRM Manager we are therefore looking for you, who should have the polished overview of our fundraising, payments, CRM and communications systems, and who understands how to make them work together as effectively as possible. We need a person who can take project management responsibility when needed, and who can also work together with fundraising and communications colleagues to translate the data insights you have generated into concrete actions in fundraising and communication.

The position will be a mix of development, operation and ongoing optimization, and your role will shift between being responsible for processes and delivering inputs to other colleagues. We expect that you can teach us a lot about segmentation, data, optimization and integrations – and that you yourself are eager to learn and contribute to our overall digital communication. For example, this could involve setting up landing pages on our websites, helping with newsletters or something else that supports digital communication with a view to fundraising.

We prioritize creating synergy between our press, SoMe, campaigns, events and fundraising, and as CRM Manager we therefore also expect that you have an eye for and a desire to contribute to data insights qualifying the through-line of all our external communication – while also keeping an eye on personalization. You will become part of the communications and fundraising team, which belongs to the Department of Communication and Knowledge. In the department you will work with 16 engaged and professionally strong colleagues, all working for our joint cause: a world free from violence against women and children.

Your main tasks

As CRM Manager you will be both responsible for and performing in relation to

  • Segmenting data about Danner's donors and (together with your fundraising and communications colleagues) translating the analyses into new initiatives aimed at recruitment, loyalty and re-activation.
  • Develop, operate and continuously optimize automated communication flows to Danner's private donors.
  • Develop data-based insights for use in Danner's fundraising within foundations and funds – and after development take responsibility for ongoing operation and optimization.
  • Be responsible for our CRM system and the work here.
  • Contribute to Danner's overall fundraising efforts and communication.

Your profile

We expect that you have

  • At least 2 years of work experience (after completing your education) from a similar position. Your specific educational background is not decisive.
  • Analytical skills that enable you to collect, process and translate data into concrete insights and decisions.
  • Understanding of the interplay between digital systems, including concrete integrations, and solid experience working in CRM systems and email automation systems. It does not matter which systems you know – the important thing is that you have concrete experience from a similar position and understand how you can translate your skills to Danner's needs.
  • Understanding of member recruitment, loyalty programs and reactivation.
  • Project management competencies so you can lead the processes from A to Z – of course always with your colleagues and your manager backing you up and with the possibility for sparring.

We currently work with Mailchimp, Donorfy, Online Fundraising and WordPress. If you are familiar with one or more of these, that is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have a knack for digital systems and can see how they can work best together.

NGO experience is also an advantage, but not a requirement either. You may also have a commercial background and now want to apply your skills in a new context.

As a person you are proactive and good at executing – while at the same time being mindful of your colleagues' professional competencies and keeping an eye on the overall strategic direction. Additionally, it is important that you:

  • Have the ability and enjoy finding creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Have a good overview, are detail-oriented when it comes to data and have the ability to make decisions.
  • Have strong relational skills and understand why, how and when to involve your colleagues in your work.
  • Thrive with complex tasks and be able to handle them independently and securely.

You will become part of an ambitious team where we collectively set high standards, help each other when it's busy, and at the same time care about each other as people.
