Fundraising and Partnership Manager for NGO

Would you like to be part of a dedicated team that works to strengthen awareness of human rights and democratic values through documentary films? THE WHY is seeking a fundraising and partnerships manager on a full-time basis.

THE WHY Foundation's goal is to ensure everyone free access to reliable information. We work on projects both in Denmark and globally. We collaborate with more than 70 TV stations, local NGOs and schools. Our office is located in Cinemateket on Gothersgade in Copenhagen K. Here you will be part of a strong team with diverse backgrounds in journalism, film and media.

About the job

You will actively participate in many exciting projects. Therefore it's important that you are structured and punctual. The primary responsibility is THE WHY’s project funding, but also project management and reporting. We place emphasis on you:

• Have experience in writing foundation applications.
• Are proactive, see opportunities and maintain ongoing contact with relevant foundations.
• Have a basic understanding of project management and efficient and timely application processes.
• Write and express yourself clearly in Danish and English.
• Have budgeting and financial understanding.

Salary according to qualifications, but we are an NGO and therefore the salary level is modest.
