About the job

Two fixed full-time positions – join us as we consolidate and develop the Dental Service

Holbæk Municipal Dental Service is entering an exciting new phase. At the end of 2026 we will consolidate large parts of the Dental Service in a new and modern central clinic in Holbæk, and in this process we will strengthen our organization and are seeking two clinic assistants for fixed full-time positions.

It is an exciting time to become part of our dental service. The new central clinic creates new frameworks for our daily work and provides even better opportunities for professional collaboration, knowledge sharing and development across professional groups.

Do you want to join the journey and be part of a dental service in development, where high professional standards, collaboration and job satisfaction go hand in hand – and where you as a clinic assistant play an important role in daily dental care?

We are looking for clinic assistants who want to work with children and adolescents and help create good and safe experiences in the dental service. With us you will become part of a multidisciplinary community where all professional groups contribute to the core task and to the ongoing development of our dental service.

A bit about us

Holbæk Municipal Dental Service is a modern dental service with about 60 engaged employees who provide dental care for around 18,000 children and young people aged 0-22, including orthodontics.

We work with high professional quality, interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong focus on the health and well-being of children and young people.

We are also in an exciting development. At the end of 2026 we will gather large parts of the dental service in a new and modern central clinic in Holbæk. Here we will consolidate our current clinics at Bjergmarken and Absalon as well as Orthodontics. In addition, we will continue to have clinics in Jyderup and Tølløse.

The new central clinic gives us new opportunities for closer professional collaboration, knowledge sharing and development across professional groups – and you will have the opportunity to become part of this development from the start.

Your profile

  • Have completed training as a clinic assistant
  • Have experience with the various tasks of a clinic assistant – or want to develop yourself and learn more
  • Have experience with independent clinical work and preferably AOP, or are willing and eager to acquire competencies in independent clinical work
  • Are professionally grounded and focused on quality in both clinical work and documentation
  • Want to work with children and young people and can create a sense of security around the treatment
  • Have good collaboration skills and actively contribute to a good working environment
  • Contribute positively to cross-disciplinary collaboration and share your knowledge with colleagues
  • Thrive in the diverse tasks characteristic of municipal dental care
  • Work in a structured way, are responsible and reliable
  • Are flexible, positive and can maintain an overview – even when everyday life is busy
  • Communicate in a present and professional manner with children, young people, parents and colleagues
  • Desire ongoing professional and personal development
  • Wish to make a difference for the health and well-being of children and young people

It is an advantage if you have experience from municipal dental care, but not a requirement. The most important for us is that you want to be an active part of our workplace and contribute to both daily operations and the ongoing development of the Dental Service.

We offer

  • A fixed full-time position at a workplace in development
  • Exciting and varied tasks
  • Opportunities for both traditional clinic assistant duties and independent clinical tasks depending on your competencies and interests
  • Close collaboration with dentists, dental hygienists, clinic assistants and other colleagues
  • Daily professional sparring and knowledge sharing
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development
  • Opportunity to influence the development of municipal dental care
  • A workplace focused on well-being, quality and collaboration

We work with an appreciative approach and with motivational interviewing, and therefore place emphasis on the desire and ability to communicate with children, young people and their parents.
