We are looking for

A dentist for a permanent full-time position of 35 hours per week with start date on 1 January 2027.

We are looking for a dentist who is passionate about working with children and young people and who wishes to make a difference through prevention, treatment and health promotion. With us, children and young people are the primary patient group, and we therefore seek a colleague who consciously chooses municipal dental care and finds professional joy in this very work.

Your main tasks

• Treatment and prevention in the children’s and adolescents’ dentistry
• To create safe and positive dental experiences for children, youths and their families
• That you are flexible and prepared to solve tasks across the entire dental care, including care dental and social dentistry
• To actively contribute to the development of the dental care and to a good collaboration across the clinics
• To be conscious of your own contribution to a strong working environment.

We are therefore seeking a colleague who wishes to work full-time and be an active part of the development of the Dental Care in Ballerup Municipality.

Who are we

We are 19 clinic assistants, three clinic assistant trainees, three dental hygienists, 13 dentists and the Dental Care management consisting of a team leader, a secretary and a chief dentist.

• Children and youths are treated at three clinics distributed across two teams
• Care dental takes place at five nursing home clinics, in the citizens’ homes or at our child and adolescent dental clinics
• Social dentistry is handled at the dental clinic Tandrødderne close to Ballerup Town Hall
• Orthodontics is handled by the Center for Orthodontics (CFT) in collaboration with Egedal and Furesø Municipalities.

Employment process and salary

Start date is 1 January 2027.

The position is 35 hours and is a permanent position.

We expect to hold employment interviews on 17 November 2026.

Application deadline:  12. November 2026

We offer salary and employment terms according to the agreement for dentists in municipalities.

Employment occurs according to principles of local salary formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position as dentists is 38,828.33 DKK – 57,208.80 DKK per month excluding pension at full-time (37 hours weekly).

The final salary is determined after negotiation between the employer and the professional organization that has the right to bargain in the relevant collective bargaining area. The salary depends among other things on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
