Deputy Principal for Nordfyns Music School - 20 hours per week

Nordfyns Musikskole seeks a deputy head, who together with the head of the music school will help ensure a well-functioning everyday life and the continued development of the Music School.

We are looking for you who thrives with responsibility and can navigate in a daily life where pedagogical, staff-related and organizational considerations meet. You must be able to handle the complexity, maintain an overview and make independent decisions – even when there isn’t necessarily one obvious answer.

Your tasks

As deputy head, you will among other things

• be the substitute for the music school head in their absence
• actively contribute to the music school’s strategic and organizational development
• make independent decisions within your area of responsibility and follow them through
• manage contacts, agreements and collaborations and have a coordinating role in larger activities
• solve day-to-day operations and leadership tasks in close cooperation with the music school head, administration and the rest of the music school staff
• collaborate with the music school’s coordinators
• represent the music school and participate in relevant networks.

The final distribution of tasks between the music school head and the deputy is determined based on the chosen candidate’s competencies and experiences.

Practical

The position is 20 hours per week with commencement 1 January 2027 .

Expected salary range will be provided at the 1st interview. The final salary is set based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after concrete negotiation with the trade union.
