Director of Climate, Environment and Technology

Would you like to be a director in a well-resourced capital municipality with high ambitions for both operations and development?

Gentofte Municipality is seeking an experienced strategic leader with solid knowledge of the current and major agendas in the climate, environment and technology area.

You are a clear and communicatively strong director-profile who collaborates across and lifts the municipality in line with our strategic guiding principles in ”Sammen om Gentofte”. You create an overview and set a direction so that both day-to-day operations and long-term development create tangible value for the residents of Gentofte. You navigate confidently in a complex portfolio of tasks, and at the same time you have the relational skills that ensure commitment and high well-being.

You will have overall responsibility for a portfolio of tasks spanning broadly including climate and climate adaptation, urban planning, major construction projects, properties, traffic, nature and the environment, waste and utilities.

You will lead approx. 300 engaged employees and managers – and become a central advisor and sparring partner for the political leadership while also being part of an executive team that collaborates across to develop the entire Gentofte Municipality. The work will reflect that we in Gentofte work within the framework of ’together in leadership’ and an active MED- and TRIO-collaboration.
