Dispatcher to City Container in Farum or Odense

To our operations team at City Container we are looking for a structured and detail-oriented dispatcher who will help ensure efficient driving coordination for our bulky waste department. We are looking for a colleague who enjoys helping create efficiencies and improvements, who will ensure that we efficiently collect commercial waste and recycling materials without compromising the customer experience.

Be part of growing the business

As a dispatcher you have an overview of the week's trips, you coordinate tasks and keep your team of drivers moving. It is your job to ensure that our drivers, in the most profitable way, deliver and collect commercial waste and recycling materials to our customers on time.

It is through an overview and follow-up that you ensure that we, with efficiency in mind, give our customers a professional and seamless experience when they do business with us.

About the operations team

Operations are divided into three teams, where one team services customers with bulky trucks and the other team services customers with compactor trucks. Both driving teams have contact with our drivers and customers, and both teams cooperate and support each other during absence, vacation and illness.

In addition, the team consists of a Customer Experience team, whose task is to ensure a professional customer experience throughout the customer journey from sales to delivery to invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule bulky and crane trucks
• Daily contact and coordination of drivers
• Contribute to the good customer experience and ensure high quality on all transport tasks
• Build and maintain clear structures and processes for the bulky department

Experienced dispatcher

To be successful in the role, you need to have experience as a dispatcher and live within commuting distance of Odense or Farum. You enjoy being part of creating changes and improvements. You are also known for thinking outside the box in your problem solving. It is through your infectious humor and sense of communication, involvement and knowledge sharing that you help create a good working environment.
