Skovriderkroen is seeking an experienced and engaged Floor Manager/Overtjener. The position can be filled by one full-time employee or shared between two part-time employees (20–25 hours per week per person).

You will play a key role in final coordination and execution of everything from weddings and private parties to corporate events and conferences.

You ensure that all details are in place before guests arrive, and that the events run smoothly, both front-of-house and behind the scenes.

You report to our Head of Venue and become part of a fixed team where we work closely across the venue with, among others, bartenders, event managers and the kitchen.

Your tasks

• Lead and motivate wait staff and event personnel
• Plan staffing and shift schedules for the events
• Provide final coordination and take responsibility for the execution of weddings, private parties, corporate events and conferences
• Hold clear and effective briefs so everyone is prepared for the task
• Ensure a smooth flow, high service and a good atmosphere, from the first service to the last farewell
• Be the liaison between guests, kitchen, bartenders, event managers and management during the event
• Ensure the venues are prepared and laid out, and that the house appears neat and inviting

About you

• You have experience as a head waiter, events supervisor or floor manager and are used to leading staff
• You have experience leading, motivating and training young employees, often in their first job
• You are a natural leader who creates both calm and energy in the team and leads by example
• You are passionate about service, quality and good hospitality
• You keep an overview in pressurized situations and ensure the details add up
• You thrive on cross-departmental collaboration
• You are flexible and prepared for work hours primarily in the evenings and weekends
• You speak and write Danish and communicate effortlessly in English

📅 Working form: One full-time position or two part-time positions (20–25 hours/week)

🕒 Working hours: Primarily evenings and weekends. There will also be day meetings and conferences

💰 Salary: Depending on qualifications
