Service employee with backbone and a smile on their face – full-time

Do you have guts and a smile on your face? Then you might be the one we are looking for! 🍻

The Copenhagener in Helsingør is seeking a new full-time colleague!

Are you outgoing, responsible and good with people? Can you keep your head when things get busy, and greet our guests with humor, warmth and a twinkle in your eye?

Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Two worlds under one roof

The Copenhagener is not quite like other workplaces.

During the day we are a cosy restaurant , where we serve classic Danish open sandwiches and lunch dishes to both Danish and Swedish guests.

In the evening the place transforms into a traditional, lively public house , where community, good conversations and a relaxed atmosphere are central.

That means you get a varied workday with different guests, tasks and tempo.

We therefore seek a person who can deliver good restaurant service during the day and thrives with the atmosphere and guests at the public house in the evening.

Who are you?

We are firstly looking for the right personality!

Maybe you have worked in a restaurant or bar, but you could also come from retail, sales, customer service or another industry and feel like trying something new.

We imagine that you

• Have guts and are willing to take responsibility
• Are outgoing, smiling and naturally good with people
• Can stay calm and keep an overview, even when it is busy
• Are reliable, dependable and responsible
• Can work independently and make decisions
• Can set boundaries in a friendly but firm manner
• Have humor and thrive with many different types of people
• Are a good colleague who contributes to a positive working environment
• Are flexible and can work day, evening and weekend shifts

Experience from the hospitality industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We value personality, sense of responsibility and the right attitude higher than a specific education.

Your tasks

You will become part of both the restaurant and pub operations, where your tasks include, among others:

• Welcoming guests warmly and ensuring good service
• Serving food and drinks
• Bar work and cash handling
• Preparation, opening and closing
• Keeping things tidy and ensuring the venue always looks inviting
• Handling different situations professionally and with a good mood
• Contributing to good cooperation and a well-functioning everyday life

• A full-time position with day, evening and weekend shifts
• An versatile workplace with both restaurant and pub
• A cosy and informal working environment
• Lots of different people and never two exactly alike days
• Opportunity for responsibility and influence on daily life
