Then it may be you we are looking for as our new kitchen responsible house assistant / nutrition assistant

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be responsible for preparing cold and hot meals for approximately 110 children aged 0-6 years and 20 adults. The food is prepared in the kitchen at one site and subsequently transported to our neighboring site. It is therefore a prerequisite that you can move between the two sites and handle the daily transport of the food.

You get an autonomous role with the opportunity to plan the kitchen's everyday life and compose varied meals that fit the children's age and needs. Smaller groups of children will occasionally participate in simple activities in the kitchen. You must therefore be able to create safe, secure and age-appropriate settings where children can explore the journey from raw material to meal.

YOUR PRIMARY TASKS

• Plan and prepare a varied and child-friendly meals - both cold and warm
• Consider allergies, special dietary needs and current nutritional guidelines
• Plan and carry out purchases and keep an overview of raw materials, stock and food waste
• Handle the daily operation and order in the kitchen
• Ensure that the applicable rules for hygiene, food safety and self-control are followed
• Prepare and transport the food securely and hygienically to our neighboring site
• Involve the children in simple cooking activities that strengthen their attitude to food and practical understanding of hygiene and cooking

WE EXPECT THAT YOU

• Have the necessary hygiene certificates and relevant knowledge about food safety and self-control
• Have experience cooking for many people - very preferably children
• Work independently, structured and responsible
• Can keep an overview of menu planning, procurement and economy
• Have knowledge about allergies and special dietary needs or be willing to acquire it
• Are flexible and can make daily food production and delivery work across our two neighboring sites
• Can create safe and secure settings for children's participation and meet both children and adults with patience and good humor

The most important thing is that you are passionate about making good and nutritious food and want to play an important role in the children's everyday life.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiations with the negotiating trade union based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly hours: 30 hours
