Spiloppen is an integrated institution with two nursery rooms and two preschool rooms. You will become part of our nursery team, where safety, presence and recognizability are the driving forces of everyday life.

We are a staff group with both newer and very experienced colleagues. What unites us is the wish to create the best possible conditions for the children’s well-being, development and participation in the community.

Professionalism that can be felt in the children’s everyday life

In Spiloppen our pedagogy starts from the children’s needs, interests and development. We work purposefully to create frameworks where all children have the opportunity to participate, explore the world and experience that they succeed.

Our view of children is built on engagement, interest, support, guidance, security and care. Especially for nursery children, close presence and safe, recognizable relationships are decisive.

When children feel safe, they gain courage to explore, practice and take on new challenges – both on their own and together with others. Therefore we deliberately adapt our pedagogy so there is room for diversity and possibilities for individual actions when a child needs it.

We have, through Aarhus Municipality’s competence lift Dagtilbud for alle built a shared professional understanding and a range of experiences that we actively bring into play in our daily work.

In our room meetings we work systematically with the progression model, which helps us follow the children’s development, evaluate our efforts and adjust practice when needed. We experience that the systematic approach makes a positive difference for the children, and we want to continue to develop and anchor it in our pedagogical work.

You will thus be part of a professional community where we do not just talk about pedagogy, but investigate how our actions make a difference for the children.

A good collaboration between home and daycare is an important part of the children’s well-being. Therefore we want to meet all parents with respect, openness and interest in their perspectives.

About Kolt-Hasselager Daycare

Kolt-Hasselager Daycare is located in the southern part of Aarhus and consists of eight institutional departments and a day-care department.

Across the daycare, we have close cooperation between leaders and staff. We have several well-functioning professional teams that work purposefully with, among other things, language, stronger learning communities, Dagtilbud for alle, motor skills and working environment.

Spiloppen has good transport options with free parking right outside the door and bus connections with departures about every 10 minutes throughout the day.

Practical information

• Position: Nursery teacher
• Working hours: Usually 37 hours per week
• Start date: December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
• Application deadline: November 16, 2026

• Salary and employment: According to current collective agreement
