About the job

Do you want to be the one who makes everyday life work for some of Denmark's most vulnerable children and their families?

When a child becomes seriously ill, many people make a difference.

Doctors treat. Nurses care. Bioanalysts, secretaries and students perform their important tasks.

But there are also some people who ensure that everything around the treatment functions.

Those who see what others do not see.

Those who fill things up before something is missing.

Those who create structure in complexity.

Those who find solutions before the challenges arise.

Now we are looking for a new colleague for exactly that role.

A meaningful job - every single day

At the Department of Intensive Care for Newborns and Young Children we treat some of the country's most critically ill newborns and young children.

Here you meet families in some of life's hardest moments. Although you are not responsible for the actual treatment, your work has great significance for their experience of the department.

As a operations assistant you help create the conditions that enable employees to perform their best and give families security in a difficult time.

Your work is seen. Your work is valued. And your work makes a difference.

You will be part of a strong partnership

You will become one of the department's two operations assistants.

Your upcoming colleague has many years of experience in the department and knows workflows, systems and logistics inside out. You will thus receive a thorough introduction and an experienced sparring partner who helps you get started with the tasks.

In return, we also expect that you with time take responsibility, work independently and become the person others can rely on.

  • Like structure and order
  • Are service-minded and naturally helpful
  • Thrive in an environment where things sometimes move quickly
  • Want to be an important part of a community

In short, we are looking for a colleague who sees the glass as half full and meets people with energy, commitment and good humor.

It would be an advantage if you

  • Have experience with logistics, warehouse management or operations roles
  • Have a knack for IT systems
  • Have experience with or interest in Lean and optimization of workflows
  • Can create structure in complex processes
  • Have an eye for how small improvements can make a big difference

Help shape the future of the pediatric hospital
