About the job
Operations Operator for a newly started sorting plant
Do you have experience from process plants and enjoy both monitoring, operation and practical tasks? At ARC you will become part of a new operator team and help bring a new sorting plant into operation. At the same time you get the opportunity to shape collaboration, working procedures and daily operation from the start.
ARC is in the process of establishing a completely new and ambitious sorting plant for residual waste – a plant that will set new standards for efficient resource use and sustainable waste management. The plant will sort residual waste for Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and Tårnby municipalities.
As an operations operator you will be a central part of the daily operation. You monitor and optimize the plant's processes, ensure stable operation and contribute to the plant functioning safely and efficiently.
You report to the operations manager of the sorting plant and will become part of an operator team that works closely with the maintenance team.
The job
As an operations operator you will have a varied daily life with responsibility for both process control, plant operation and the practical tasks at the plant including:
- operation, adjustment and optimization of machines and process plant
- cleaning of process equipment and production areas
- driving with forklift and excavator machinery
- control room work and monitoring of plant operation
- handling and planning of internal logistics tasks
- execution of ad hoc tasks in the operation
Your profile
You have experience with operation and monitoring of process plants or similar production environments. Experience from process, production, energy or waste facilities is an advantage, as well as technical insight and experience with driving loading machines and forklift. Therefore you must have a Category B driving license and forklift certificate. The most important thing, however, is that you want to take responsibility, learn new things and actively contribute to daily operation.
You thrive both working independently and as part of a team, and you are able to combine IT-based tasks with practical work in everyday life.
You work in a structured way and keep overview – even when it’s busy. At the same time you take responsibility, focus on safety and quality and contribute to good collaboration with your colleagues.
As a person you are approachable and contribute to a good tone at the workplace. You have a ready smile, a good sense of humor and help to create the positive energy that characterizes daily life at ARC.
We offer
- A responsible and versatile job in professional settings with focus on safety, thorough onboarding and high professionalism
- A strong operator team where we help each other, share our knowledge and make room for a smile in everyday life
- Social events as well as access to fitness, reflexology and physiotherapy
- A workplace with high ambitions for sustainability and efficient resource use
Salary and terms
The work is organized in a shift plan within the hours 6–21 on weekdays. You rotate between day shift 06:00–13:30 and evening shift 13:30–21:00. The shifts change from week to week in a six-week period, after which you have one week with working hours 08:00–15:30.
