In a market characterized by transformation and new exciting opportunities, the procurement function is gaining increasing influence on our ability to deliver goods and services in the right quantity, quality and time. At the same time, this must happen in an increasingly competitive market in Denmark and internationally, where our purchasing prices and supplier agreements have a large and direct impact on Duelco’s results.

Therefore we are looking for a strong profile with solid experience as Purchasing Manager, who can and will act independently and lead the purchasing function. Your team consists of you and a Technical Purchaser.

You will be part of Duelco’s central leadership team.

Responsibilities

· In collaboration with the leadership team, develop and implement Duelco’s purchasing strategy

· Develop and challenge existing suppliers, including optimizing delivery flow, supply security and prices.

· Continuously identify new potential suppliers to ensure continuously having alternative solutions and consistently competitive prices

· Management responsibility for the Purchasing Team, including task allocation, prioritization, professional development and follow-up on goals

· Ongoing sparring with the sales departments regarding sales forecasts and upcoming needs

· Handling of significant delivery deviations, complaints, backorders and supplier problems in general

· In collaboration with the team, maintain relevant master data, including updated price and cost lists for use by the rest of the organization

Requirements for you

· You must be passionate about both purchasing and leadership, and have a contagious drive to achieve both the team’s and your own goals

· Ideally you have a background as Purchasing Manager. Industry knowledge and technical understanding are an advantage, but not a requirement.

• You are structured and focused in your approach to tasks and can juggle many balls at once – but won’t lose footing if the plan suddenly changes.

· You must be proactive in your approach to tasks and continually seek to be ahead of incoming sales orders/tasks

• You are good at building relationships and understand how to operate at all levels with direct and comprehensible language.

· You must have good IT understanding and master Danish and English in writing and speaking

· You are a team player , but can also work independently
