Børnehuset Marthagården on Frederiksberg is looking for a pedagogue

Børnehuset Marthagården is a popular child care house centrally located on Frederiksberg. Marthagården is spread over two lovely old houses and is close to the Metro and the Green Path. We are a self-governing institution under Diakonissestiftelsen, and we operate under an agreement with Frederiksberg Municipality.

As a pedagogue with us you will become part of a skilled and versatile staff group with approachable and trusting leadership. You will be attached to a baby group, where the children are approximately 10 months to 3 years old.

The position is 35-37 hours per week with start on 1 November 2026 or by agreement.

The children at Marthagården should experience that they can be part of small and large communities and can accommodate each other's differences. They learn to be kind to one another, comfort each other and sense each other's feelings. We work to strengthen their self-esteem and belief that we are all born with unique resources and competencies.

Our pedagogical approach

At Marthagården our practice is grounded in ICDP (International Child Development Program) . It is a pedagogical method and a view of humanity that focuses on what people fundamentally need in order to thrive and develop.

In the baby group we work with Babblarna. Babblarna is a Swedish language-stimulating concept of colorful figures, developed to help children with language development through play and song.

The practical

The application deadline is Monday 19 October 2026, and recruitment interviews will be held on an ongoing basis. Start preferably from 1 November 2026 or by agreement.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the principles of new pay. We will obtain child welfare and criminal record checks and take references as part of the recruitment.
