Educator for Børnecenter Høllevang in Toftlund

We are seeking an engaged and caring pedagogue for our toddler group as of January 1, 2027. The position is 37 hours per week, of which 3 hours are at another institution in the area. You also have the possibility of 34 hours per week, exclusively at Børnecenter Høllevang.

Become a part of our toddler universe

You will be part of a strong community around 21 lovely children aged 0-3 years. With us, safety, familiarity and presence are the foundation for the children’s well-being, learning and development.

We value daily routines and work purposefully to create a predictable everyday life, where each child feels seen, met and understood. At the same time we actively use both our wonderful outdoor area and the local area, because the world around us is full of exciting experiences and learning opportunities for small, curious children.

Who are we?

Børnecenter Høllevang is located in Toftlund’s largest residential area, with access to an amazing playground and an inspiring local environment with green areas, a riding school and many other opportunities.

In our pedagogical work we have a particular focus on

• the positioning and role of professionals
• play as the fundamental basis for children's development, both indoors and outdoors
• nature as an active part of the pedagogical practice through the changing seasons of the year
• work in smaller groups that create calm, presence and the best developmental opportunities for each child.

We are also in the middle of an exciting development process focusing on professional roles and relational competencies. All staff will be ICDP-certified, and we expect our future colleague to want to develop through this approach.

In the house we are

• up to 40 preschool children distributed across two rooms
• 21 toddlers distributed across two rooms
• 12 permanent staff members
• pedagogy students in periods.

Part of a larger community

Børnecenter Høllevang is part of Område Løgumkloster og Toftlund, which further includes eight branches in Løgumkloster, Ballum, Bedsted, Bredebro, Visby, Øster Højst and Toftlund.

Practical information

Start date: 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter

Working hours: 37 hours per week. Fewer hours can be agreed.
