Educator for Børnehuset Lærkereden

Are you excited about working with society's most wonderful target group and their parents, then come and join our kindergarten. We need a pedagogue who meets the children with care and presence, and who places a high value on the playful approach. You are not averse to daily sparring and feedback and go to work to meet colleagues who want to collaborate and develop to optimize the children's everyday lives.

The Kindergarten House Lærkereden is an integrated institution in Lading; we have good spacious facilities both indoors and outdoors and are currently normed for 30 toddler children and 55 preschool children.

We value safe environments and therefore have a strong focus on changing everyday life based on the children’s needs. We value the great sense of community and have succeeded in holding a group gathering with the toddlers every Friday. We are focused on organizing and positioning ourselves so that we can be present and active participants in the children’s everyday lives.

With a basis in the new view of children, we work consciously from the principle that it is always the adults who have the responsibility to create and maintain a safe and positive relationship with each individual child. Children coming to Lærkereden should meet a daily life that is safe, acknowledging, and developmental.

At Lærkereden we are focused on nature and outdoor life and are part of Friluftsrådets Grønne Spirer program. We also have a particular focus on working with children’s emotions and feel that with elements from Face:It we create a common language and understanding of one another.

We are looking for a pedagogue who can

• work closely in interaction with children and adults
• create overview and demonstrate responsibility in daily life
• work independently with a group of children and be able to lead both in front, behind, and beside
• present clearly and unambiguously in communication
• take initiative, be open and able to step forward before children and parents and want the collaboration – even when it gets difficult
• create good relations with children and adults
• work based on Lærkereden's pedagogical foundation and curriculum.
