Educator for Skørping SFO

Skørping School is seeking a qualified pedagogue who loves to play

We are seeking a qualified pedagogue for a permanent 30-hour position from December 1 in possibly Denmark's coolest after-school program (SFO). You will primarily be attached to the SFO with a few coordinator-like tasks, as well as support hours in the school section.

Skørping School is nicely located in the scenic Rold Forest and close to both town and the station. The school has two/three tracks with about 600 students across grades 0-9, of which about 220 children attend the SFO and 110 in Klubben. In addition, Skørping School has attached special classes AK and Skoven. Some of these children attend our SFO during extended hours.

Our SFO is heavily inspired by play, which is why we work with the adults' play personalities and how they can contribute to the children's diverse personal development. Here, our outdoor space is a huge asset, which is one of the reasons we are a DGI-certified SFO. Therefore we incorporate movement as a natural part of our daily activities with the children with a view to strengthening and developing their academic and social competencies.

In our pedagogical work with interventions in the children’s group we use the tools Skolestyrken and PBL, as they take their starting point in the community rather than the individual.
