About Solgården

We are a self-governing youth club for children and young people aged 7-18. We are normed for about 50 children and young people, including a special group of about 15 who need extra support.

We work from a basis of relationships, wellbeing and development and create safe and inclusive communities where children and young people are seen, heard and valued.

Our main goal is to leave positive traces in the lives of children and young people.

Horses are an important part of our pedagogy

Solgården is located on a farm with large outdoor areas, and the horses are a central part of our daily life and pedagogical offerings.

We therefore seek a pedagogue who has practical experience with horses and who can see opportunities in using work with horses to create relationships, community, responsibility, mastery and development among the children and young people.

You should be keen to both participate in the daily care of the horses and to develop activities around them together with the children.

At Solgården we also have opportunities for, among other things, Trial, go'cart, ATV, BMX, workshops and a swimming pool. We believe that good relationships often arise when we do things together.

  • is strong in relational work and present in meetings with children and young people
  • has a calm nervous system and can maintain overview in challenging situations
  • is mentally robust, flexible and adaptable
  • sees opportunities rather than problems
  • has humor and dares to try something new
  • can create activities based on the interests of the children and young people
  • can work independently while also engaging in a close collegial collaboration
  • wants professional reflection and development

With us you get
